Welcome to the Rotary Club of Minnesota Veterans

We are a group of Veterans living in Minnesota who are actively in the process of organizing / becoming chartered as a service club within Rotary International.  Our sense of service derives from military core values of "Service before Self"  that parallels those of Rotary International "Service above Self."
Service includes: actively caring for one another and our extended families - especially during times of hurt; serving in our communities - youth, civic organizations, schools and the elderly; duly honoring other veterans & their families - especially during times of grief; and serving those in area/regions where we have served, such as projects in Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, Somalia, etc.

Welcome to the first Rotary Club for veterans serving veterans in the world!  Gary White is serving as our charter president.  The initial meetings included an introduction to Rotary and an open discussion of our guiding principles - Camaraderie, Service, and Peace - and Rotary 101 to learn more about this amazing International service organization.  The 38 club members are currently in discussion of ideas for projects or events we would like to participate in as a club.
We meet at 7pm, on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of the month at St. Peter's at 5421 France Ave S in Edina.
We had 35 charter members who were recognized at our Charter Night on October 10, 2019 at the Edina Country Club.  Local Edina Rotary Clubs are providing support to get this new club launched.
The picture includes some of the first invitees who gathered to learn about Rotary International. These individuals were immediately excited about the camaraderie and serving potential of Rotary and the possibilities of leveraging the global reach of Rotary.  Come see what this new club is all about.  We are actively seeking more veterans to join.
We are honored that the following men and women have stepped up to serve as our club leadership. Each of these individuals is very well qualified for their respective positions and all are involved in various other veteran organizations.
